1–13 Eastgate Street, Chester

Prestec UK successfully completed a 16-week external façade refurbishment programme at 1–13 Eastgate, located within Chester’s historic Rows Conservation Area.

The works comprised specialist timber and window splice repairs, localised joinery repairs, external preparation and decoration, and associated remedial works to restore and protect the existing building fabric while retaining the distinctive character of the Victorian mock-Tudor properties.

All retail, restaurant and office premises remained fully occupied and operational throughout the project, requiring careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to tenants, businesses and the public.
