Prestec started work on this project back in March 2015. We were appointed to waterproof the courtyard/podium deck and planters after a series of meetings with the architects, the client and the landscape gardener to find the best waterproofing solution to suit the requirements of such an important feature.
Prestec coated the podium deck and structural walls with Mapei Purtop HA Polyurea followed by insulation and Mapei’s Mapeplan TU S20 membrane, which was heat welded and loosely laid over the Polyurea to form a sealed system over the entire podium deck. This high-end refurbishment required the use of established, reliable materials installed by an experienced contractor such as us.
