Prestec has recently completed a two-phase job for Compco Fire Systems in Oldbury, which involved extending a two-storey office block in the warehouse and fitting out the new office area.
The job, which was completed in December 2016, was carried out in two phases and ensured minimal disruption to the busy warehouse area.
Phase One involved the extension of an existing two-storey office block within the warehouse area. This included the installation of new foundations, structural blockwork and steelwork, and the construction of a new first floor within the extension, along with alterations to the office areas.
Phase Two comprised a total refurbishment and fit out of the existing and new office areas. The extensive list of works included the installation of new electrics, alarms and data systems; replastering the new and existing walls; extending the heating system; installation of new flooring, decorations and suspended ceilings; and fitting new cladding to the front elevation.
