Rooksmoor Footbridge, Gloucester

Our work included open grit blast cleaning with the application of a high performance paint system. Works began on site early December 2014 with a programme of 3 weeks in difficult seasonal weather conditions. The steel was prepared via wet and dry blast cleaning, following a level of criteria laid down by the local authority, for regular condition and environment testing, with application of a new paint system. A pre-requisite for the works to be carried out was ICAT’s registration, of which Prestec is fully qualified.
