Our Director, David Hewlett, has completed another bike ride for charity. This time, he participated in the Velo Birmingham 2017, the first major cycling event to take place in Birmingham.
The bike ride consisted of a 100-mile journey on closed roads through Worcestershire and Staffordshire, via Sandwell and Dudley, before reaching the finishing line on Broad Street, Birmingham.
David completed the ride in under seven hours, in six hours and forty-seven minutes, to be exact. David was riding on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society charity, an organisation which is very close to David’s heart.
The charity uses donations for research; campaigning; offering support to those who are suffering and their families; and guiding, advising and informing those who require it.
