Prestec have built up a strong professional relationship with Tendring Council, one that continues to flourish.

Currently, Prestec are in the process of refurbishing the Venetian Bridge over the Pier Gap at Clacton-On-Sea for Tendring Council. The work is well underway and due to be completed by February 2018. Click here to view all project details.

Due to this close relationship and the current works taking place, Tendring Council asked Prestec to sponsor Clacton-On-Sea’s Christmas Tree for 2017; an invitation that was gladly accepted by Prestec.

The 30ft tree cost £1,500 was brought down from Thetford, Norfolk, and had to be positioned using a telescopic handler. It now proudly sits in the town centre, decorated with over 4,000 LED lights and 400 baubles.

Mick Skeels, Tendring District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism, thanked Prestec UK for its generous gesture and has said: “The Town Square is the focal point for the seasonal festivities in Clacton and we are very grateful to Prestec for donating this year’s tree. I am sure that it will give a great deal of pleasure to so many people over the Christmas period.”

The Prestec team are pleased to be spreading Christmas joy.
